The alteration of the schedule of publishing the information on factors affecting banking sector liquidity

The External and Public Relations Department of the Bank of Russia informs that the Bank of Russia alters the frequency and schedule of publishing the information on factors affecting banking sector liquidity on its official web site (“Statistics” section, “Banking Sector Liquidity Indicators” subsection).

Starting from 16 May 2012 this information for previous working day will be published daily before 10:30 am.

This alteration is aimed at improving market participants’ comprehension of the factors affecting banking sector liquidity and at facilitating the development of liquidity forecasting and management. Therefore, it should contribute to greater monetary policy effectiveness.
