Call for applications for Economic Research Competition of university students and PhD fellows is open
The Bank of Russia and the Russian Journal of Money and Finance invite university students and PhD fellows to submit papers for the 2nd Economic Research Competition.
The competition will accept papers (including theses) which were written no earlier than 2017. It is essential that when carrying out the research the author possesses a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or else is working towards a PhD.
The recommended topics are: central bank policies and their tools, inflation, financial stability, the banking system, and data analysis.
The competition winners will have the chance to participate in the Bank of Russia Macroeconomic Summer School, the Bank of Russia International Conference, and the International Financial Congress, which will be held in 6–10 July 2020 in St Petersburg, with travel and accommodation costs covered.
In addition, the winners’ papers will be considered for publication in the Russian Journal of Money and Finance.
Papers will be accepted until 15 May 2020, inclusive.
