Bank of Russia publishes 2024 ranking of insurers based on CMTPLI-related complaints
The results are presented in two tables: insurers with a client base of over two million compulsory motor third-party liability insurance (CMTPLI) contracts and small companies not exceeding this threshold. This breakdown will help car owners compare companies of the same size.
The ranking is based on the statistics of CMTPLI-related complaints submitted to the Bank of Russia in 2024, for which consumer right violations were confirmed and supervisory measures were taken. The companies are ranked by the value of the consumer risk indicator – from the highest to the lowest. It is calculated as a ratio of the number of complaints against a specific insurer to every 10 thousand contracts it concluded. The ranking does not include insurers against which only one complaint was filed.
