Bank of Russia expands statistics on mortgage lending

In order to enhance communication with users, the Bank of Russia starts publishing statistics on:

• outstanding debt on claims on mortgage loans under shared construction participation agreements acquired by credit institutions, across the Russian Federation in general and broken down by the region; and
• outstanding debt on claims on mortgage loans acquired by credit institutions, broken down by the region.

The new data will improve the analytical capacity of the statistics on mortgage lending and expand the opportunities for analysing credit institutions’ mortgage portfolio.

The statistics are available in the section Housing (Mortgage) Loan Market on the Bank of Russia website.

This information will be updated on a monthly basis according to the Official Statistics Release Calendar.
