This information contains the most significant components of financial investment and borrowings of households broken down by financial instrument, and it will be supplemented as data on other financial instruments are compiled.
Monthly data on financial assets and liabilities of the Households sector by financial instrument are an interim assessment of quarterly data of ‘Households’ financial assets and liabilities by financial instrument’.
The new material will enhance the opportunities for users to analyse the behaviour of households in financial markets in respect of the most significant financial instruments.
