Bank of Russia 100-ruble banknote modified in 2026

On 10 July 2026, the Bank of Russia puts into circulation the new 2026 version of its 100-ruble banknote.

It is dedicated to the Central Federal District of Russia. The banknote’s security features and front design are the same as in its 2022 version.

The back of the modified banknote depicts a stylised map of the Central Federal District, which is similar to the design of the modified 5,000- and 1,000-ruble banknotes issued in 2023 and 2025, respectively, which were put into circulation earlier.

Like its previous versions, the 100-ruble banknote issued in 2026 is legal tender of the Russian Federation and is mandatory for acceptance at its face value in payments for any types of goods and services without restrictions.
