Alexander Zhdanov appointed as General Director of DIA

Effective 13 January 2026, Alexander Zhdanov has been appointed as General Director of State Corporation Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA), following the decision of the DIA Board of Directors.

Mr Zhdanov’s career includes over 20 years at the Bank of Russia where he held various positions, with his most recent post being Director of the Financial Resolution Department since June 2017.
