On 18 October 2024, the Bank of Russia issues
The Saint Petersburg Mint is one of the world’s largest mints. It was founded by the Decree of Peter the Great and is located in the most protected place of the northern capital — within the premises of the Peter and Paul Fortress. The Saint Petersburg Mint makes precious metal commemorative and investment coins, government awards, commemorative medals, and various tokens. The Bank of Russia’s largest five-kilo gold and silver commemorative coins bear the mark of the Saint Petersburg Mint.

The obverse of the coins features a relief image of the National Coat of Arms of the Russian Federation and the inscriptions ‘РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ’ (RUSSIAN FEDERATION), ‘БАНК РОССИИ’ (BANK OF RUSSIA), the denomination of the coins ‘3 РУБЛЯ’ (3 RUBLES), ‘200 РУБЛЕЙ’ (200 RUBLES), the year of issue ‘2024 г.’ (2024), the chemical symbol of the metal according to Mendeleev’s Periodic Table of Elements, fineness, the Saint Petersburg Mint trademark, and fine metal content.
