Corporate Affairs Department to have new head

Elena Kuritsyna, Director of the Corporate Affairs Department of the Bank of Russia, has made a decision to continue her career outside the Bank of Russia and leaves her post on 15 November 2023.

Elena Kuritsyna joined the Bank of Russia ten years ago. Earlier she worked for the Federal Financial Markets Service. She made a significant contribution to the development of the corporate governance system of public corporations, including the protection of minority shareholders and the implementation of the sustainable development agenda.

From 16 November, Ekaterina Abasheeva, who is currently acting head of the Financial Market Strategy Department, will be acting Director of the Corporate Affairs Department.

By the Order of the Bank of Russia Governor, effective 16 November 2023, Ekaterina Lozgacheva is appointed Director of the Financial Market Strategy Department. E. Lozgacheva is currently Deputy Director of this Department.
