Bank of Russia expands statistics on lending

In order to enhance communication with users, the Bank of Russia starts publishing statistics on:

• the amount of loans and outstanding (including overdue) loans of resident legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), across federal districts broken down by the industry (according to the OKVED 2 classification);
• the structure of outstanding loans and acquired claims on loans issued to SMEs, broken down by the interest rate type and the benchmark type.

The new data will improve the analytical capacity of the statistics on lending and expand the opportunities for analysing the structure of lending.

The publication of the structure of SME lending by the interest rate type and the benchmark type is prepared according to the Bank of Russia’s Roadmap for the Development of Funding for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises for 2023–2024.

The statistics including the new breakdowns will be updated on a monthly basis according to the Official Statistics Release Calendar.
