Bank of Russia publishes new version of terms and conditions for issue and repayment of loans

A new version of the terms and conditions for the issue and repayment of Bank of Russia loans backed by securities or credit claims will be applied beginning on 1 April 2022.

The document provides for the possibility of rolling over lombard loans and also contains a number of clarifications related to the criteria for including non-marketable assets in collateral pools.

The new version of the terms and conditions has been prepared to replace the previously published version which provided for the transition to the use of credit ratings when the Bank of Russia conducts operations to provide liquidity to credit institutions. This transition is postponed until 1 January 2023.
