On the National Financial Board meeting

The National Financial Board met on 26 May 2017 to review the Bank of Russia’s Annual Report for 2016.

The Board approved the Bank of Russia’s 2016 account of payroll expenses, expenses related to pension coverage and medical support of Bank of Russia employees, capital expenditure and other administrative costs.

The meeting agenda covered a discussion of retail lending market development, including the use of instruments to limit effective interest rates.

Also, the Board approved Bank of Russia regulatory acts related to accounting at the Bank of Russia.
