German Zubarev appointed Deputy Governor of the Bank of Russia

This appointment takes effect on 25 December. German Zubarev will supervise the Security Department and the Information Security Department.

German Zubarev has been employed by the Bank of Russia since 2012; in 2017-2020, he was Adviser to the Governor of the Bank of Russia.

Dmitry Skobelkin, Deputy Governor of the Bank of Russia, will continue to supervise the Financial Monitoring and Foreign Exchange Control Department, and also the operation of the Representative Office of the Bank of Russia in the People’s Republic of China.
