Aleksey Zabotkin appointed Deputy Governor of the Bank of Russia; Monetary Policy Department to be headed by Kirill Tremasov

Aleksey Zabotkin has been appointed Deputy Governor of the Bank of Russia to be in charge of monetary policy and the department of the same name. Kirill Tremasov will be the new director of the Monetary Policy Department. Both assignments will become effective on 1 June 2020.
Kirill Tremasov headed analytical departments at various banks; his recent positions were the chief investment officer in an investment company and, from 2014 to 2017, the director of the macroeconomic forecasting department at the Russian Ministry of Economic Development.
