On Bank of Russia's forthcoming payment system

Bank of Russia Regulation No. 595-P dated 6.07.2017 ‘On the Bank of Russia Payment System’ was registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation on 6 October 2017 (Reg. No. 48458).

The regulation is the methodological basis for the Bank of Russia’s forthcoming payment system (hereinafter, the System) and establishes the rules of its operation, including a transition period.

The System rules have been prepared in cooperation with payment system participants; they provide for a single expanded procedure applicable nationwide (from 1:00 to 21:00 MSK), offering financial market participants a range of instruments for liquidity and settlements management.
