Results of provisional administration-conducted inspection of Interprombank

The provisional administration¹ to manage Joint Stock Commercial Bank Interprombank (hereinafter, the Bank), in the course of the inspection established that the activities of the Bank’s former management and owners had signs of actions to withdraw liquid assets through making a receivables assignment agreement with a legal entity incapable of settling its obligations when due under the said agreement.

The Bank of Russia submitted the information on the financial transactions that had been conducted by the Bank’s officials to the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation and the Investigative Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for consideration and procedural decision-making.
