On activities of CB Art-Bank (LLC)

The provisional administration to manage the Commercial Bank Art-Bank (LLC), appointed by Bank of Russia Order No. OD-2124, dated 18 August 2014, following the revocation of a banking licence has been struggling with the facts of serious hampering from the first day of its activity.

The management of CB Art-Bank (LLC), in its efforts to hamper the activity of the provisional administration has failed to transfer the right-established documents on loans with a balance-sheet value in excess of 1 billion rubles or over 96% of total loans which may testify to an attempt of concealing a documented evidence of the facts of assets withdrawal from the bank.

The information covering the actions of the former management of CB Art-Bank (LLC) with indications of penal acts was forwarded by the Bank of Russia to the Office of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation and the Interior Ministry of the Russian Federation for investigation and making appropriate procedural rulings.
