Financing sustainable development: new subsection on Bank of Russia website

Environmental development and climate change issues have in recent years risen up the Bank of Russia’s agenda. The regulator aims to enable the development of the market for green financial instruments and the adaptation of financial market players to climate risks. To this end, the dedicated working group now includes expert platforms tasked with developing proposals in a number of sustainable development areas and project implementation.

The subsection presents up-to-date materials on sustainable development, Bank of Russia documents on responsible financing and on investment by institutional investors, public and other companies. Moving forward, updates will be available on the progress in the working group’s operations.
