On meeting of Advisory Board on Monetary Policy of Central (National) Banks of Member States of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space
The Advisory Board on Monetary Policy of Central (National) Banks of Member States of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space held the 9th meeting in Minsk (the Republic of Belarus).
Representatives of central (national) banks of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation exchanged opinions on the current economic situation in the three countries and the implementation of monetary policy.
Meeting participants also discussed the harmonisation of national financial legislations of the member states of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space, legal aspects of further cooperation on financial issues between the central (national) banks of the member states of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space considering the establishment of the Eurasian Economic Union from 1 January 2015, and other issues.
The meeting of the Board was also attended by representatives of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia and the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.
