The Bank of Russia External and Public Relations Department announces that the monetary base (narrow definition) equalled 6,433.2 bn rubles as of November 14, 2011, as against 6,412.2 bn rubles as of November 7, 2011.
The monetary base (narrow definition) consists of the currency issued by the Bank of Russia (including cash in vaults of credit institutions) and required reserves balances on ruble deposits with the Bank of Russia.
