Bank of Russia`s Acceptance of Russia`s Obligations and Claims in respect of the IMF

The External and Public Relations Department of the Bank of Russia informs that, pursuant to the Federal Law of the Russian Federation of November 3, 2010 No. 291-FZ “On Introduction of Amendments to the Federal Law ‘On the Central Bank of the Russian Federation (Bank of Russia)’ and Separate Legal Acts of the Russian Federation”, the Bank of Russia has officially accepted from the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation obligations and claims of the Russian Federation in respect of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) resulting from the participation of the Russian Federation in the IMF. Further operations with the IMF shall be conducted by the Bank of Russia and reflected in its balance sheet.
