On the ratings of assets eligible for calculation of capital of professional securities market participants

The Bank of Russia Board of Directors decided as follows:

In compliance with the decisions of the Bank of Russia Board of Directors, dated 16 September and 18 October 2016, the following shall be applied to the ratings of individual assets eligible for calculation of capital of professional securities market participants in compliance with Bank of Russia Regulation No. 548-P, dated 19 July 2016, ‘On the Procedure for Calculating the Capital of Professional Securities Market Participants and Also of Applicants for Professional Securities Market Participant’s Licence’ (hereinafter referred to as Regulation No. 548-P):

The previously established credit ratings in the classification of the joint-stock company Analytical Credit Rating Agency (JSC ACRA) assigned to credit institutions, Russian constituents and municipalities, non-finance organisations and individual issues of financial instruments shall be applied to meet the requirements of Regulation No. 548-P to the credit rating of a warrantor or a guarantor on the financial liability, a debtor, bond issuer (issue), a warrantor or a guarantor of a bond issuer (issue), and a credit institution.

This decision is to become effective since it has been published in the Internet.
