On cancelling licences of specialised depositaries

On 6 October 2014, the Bank of Russia took a decision to cancel licences to act as a specialised depositary of investment funds, unit investment funds and non-governmental pension funds (hereinafter, the Licences) issued to the following entities:

— open joint-stock company Bank Vozrozhdenie (hereinafter, the Specialised Depositary) (abbreviated name: OJSC Bank Vozrozhdenie; location: 7/4 Luchnikov lane, bldg. 1, Moscow, 101000 Russian Federation; PSRN: 1027700540680; TIN: 5000001042; Licence No. 22-000-1-00035 dated 29 June 2001);

— open joint-stock company Bank ZENIT (hereinafter, the Specialised Depositary) (abbreviated name: OJSC Bank ZENIT; location: 9 Banniy lane, Moscow, 129110 Russian Federation; PSRN: 1027739056927; TIN: 7729405872; Licence No. 22-000-0-00018 dated 7 December 2000).

The reason to cancel the Licences of the Specialised Depositaries is the Specialised Depositaries’ failure to carry out the activity envisaged by the Licences for more than 18 months.
