On cooperation between Bank of Russia Chief Auditor Service and Institute of Internal Auditors

The Bank of Russia Chief Auditor Service and the Institute of Internal Auditors have signed Cooperation Agreement that provides for wide collaboration between the parties.

In accordance with the Agreement the Institute of Internal Auditors will provide the Bank of Russia Chief Auditor Service with information on the current and upcoming amendments to the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and consultations on the application of these amendments.

The document provides for holding joint theoretical and practical events and participation of representatives of the Bank of Russia Chief Auditor Service in meetings of the Financial Section of the Institute of Internal Auditors.

In their turn, representatives of the Institute of Internal Auditors will participate in the work of expert groups in the framework of cooperation.

Besides, the parties intend to cooperate on the issues of certification of internal auditors.
