On appointment of provisional administration
In compliance with Clause 4 of Part 2 of Article 74 of the Federal Law ‘On the Central Bank of the Russian Federation (Bank of Russia)’, the Bank of Russia took a decision to appoint a provisional administration to the Moscow-based Commercial Bank Moskomprivatbank, a closed joint-stock company (registered on 10 May 1994, Bank of Russia Registration Number: 2827) from 6 March 2014.
The provisional administration performs its functions in compliance with Article 21 of the Federal Law ‘On the Insolvency (Bankruptcy) of Credit Institutions’. According to this Article, the provisional administration’s functions include, inter alia, conducting an inspection of the credit institution and exercising control over its property within the limits established by this Article.
Moskomprivatbank continues operating in accordance with the banking licence.
