Russia’s International Reserves

The External and Public Relations Department of the Bank of Russia announces that the Russia’s international reserves at the end of the year 2005 equalled to $182.2 bn., with monetary gold calculated at current quotations by the Bank of Russia. Calculated at the fixed value of monetary gold as $300 per troy ounce as applied for previous periods the Russia’s international reserves would equal to $179.6 bn. for the same date.
The Russia’s international reserves equalled to $182.3 bn. as of January 6, 2006.
