Alexey Vetokhin appointed as Head of Bank of Russia Chief Inspection

By the Order of the Bank of Russia Governor, effective 3 February 2022, Alexey Vetokhin has been appointed as the Head of the Bank of Russia Chief Inspection.

For over 18 years, Alexey Vetokhin has been working in regional branches and the head office of the Bank of Russia, including in internal audit.

‘Alexey Vetokhin has the perfect background for the new position as he has a long-term experience in inspecting credit institutions and a thorough knowledge of this work. In the recent five years, working in the position of the Deputy Head of the Service for Ongoing Banking Supervision, he has proven his maturity as a professional and an executive,’ said First Deputy Governor of the Bank of Russia Dmitry Tulin.
