New commemorative coin issued

The Bank of Russia is to issue in circulation a commemorative silver proof coin in denomination of 3 rubles on 1 March 2017. The coin is dedicated to Surb-Khach Monastery situated in Crimea.
The reverse side of the coin depicts a relief image of the monastery. There are inscriptions: “Монастырь Сурб-Хач” (Surb-Khach Monastery) along the circumference on top, “Осн. в XIV в.” (Founded in XIV Century) in two lines on the left, “Республика Крым” (Republic of Crimea) in two lines at the bottom.
