Bank of Russia calls for interns
Starting from 7 September 2020, the Bank of Russia accepts applications from students willing to complete an internship in Bank of Russia offices in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Ryazan, Kazan, Yekaterinburg and Tomsk. Students in the fourth (bachelors), fifth (specialists) and sixth (masters) years are invited to take part in the competitive selection.
Those who have successfully passed the online test and the interview will be eligible for a 6 month-long internship (from February 2021) in the Monetary Policy Department, Information Security Department, as well as in supervisory, regulatory and other divisions. Many positions are intended for information technology and mathematics specialists, and analysts.
‘We are inviting interns for the fifth time by now. This initiative has proved to be very effective: young specialists receive great real-life experience and an opportunity to show their capabilities. More than a half of our interns eventually join the Bank of Russia team as employees,’ said Ruslan Vesterovsky, Deputy Governor of the Bank of Russia.
The applications will be accepted through 25 October.
