Bank of Russia to hold a web conference with brokers
First Deputy Governor of the Bank of Russia Sergey Shvetsov will speak at the web conference to be held on 9 December 2016, 10 AM (Moscow time). He will describe the final regulatory framework for various types of investors on the stock market, outline principles for determining their investment profile and answer the questions of Russian brokers.
A consultation report describing the framework, which was also discussed at conferences and meetings with market participants, was published on the regulator’s website last summer. A lot of comments and suggestions presented during the discussions of the report were taken into account in the final version of the framework.
The Bank of Russia considers it important to take into account opinions of the community of market participants, clarify the basic principles of the framework and answer the questions of those who were not able to participate in the meetings and conferences on the framework.
