The Bank of Russia and the Moscow Department of Competition Policy signed an agreement aimed at improving informational cooperation to expand the regulator's range of suppliers.

From now on, the Bank of Russia’s procurement list can be viewed in the single window of the Supplier Portal. This will attract new counterparties based in Moscow and other Russian regions.

‘The Bank of Russia seeks to attract new suppliers, including small- and medium-sized enterprises. Our objective is to make the procurement process as competitive and transparent as possible’, said Ruslan Vesterovsky, Deputy Governor of the Bank of Russia.

The Supplier Portal was introduced in 2013 by the Moscow Government to automate small-value tenders. By using the Portal, customers can save their financial resources and quickly make a deal in an electronic format without any paper-based workflow.

Currently, over 158,000 registered suppliers from various Russian regions offer their services through the Portal with more than 90% of them being small enterprises.
