Bank of Russia Financial Review to come out with monetary policy implementation conditions

The Bank of Russia is launching its information and analytical quarterly Financial Review to make the logic behind monetary policy decisions more accessible and understandable to interested readers.

The Review will carry the analysis of trends in various sectors of the financial market, comments on relatively important events, and assessments of further development directions. The operation of the monetary policy transmission mechanism will be a regular issue to focus on.

The Review will publish the results of the fundamental analysis of individual aspects of implementing the monetary policy. The first issue of the Review substantiates the choice of the operational target of the Bank of Russia monetary policy, the model of exchange rate volatility assessment, as well as the analysis of a pass-through effect of the impulses of the Bank of Russia’s monetary policy on government bonds yield.
