Bank of Russia to issue new commemorative coins

On 24 November 2015, the Bank of Russia issues into circulation100-ruble commemorative gold proof coin and a 3-ruble silver proof coin Eurasian Economic Union to mark its anniversary. The mintage of the gold coin is 500 pieces and that of the silver coin — 3,000 pieces.

The reverse side of the silver proof coin bears relief images of: an emblem of the Eurasian Economic Union placed in a circle of fragments of national ornaments performed in colour in the center; buildings of the National Library of the Republic of Belarus in Minsk, the Spasskaya Tower of the Moscow Kremlin and the Grand Kremlin Palace in Moscow, the residence of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana, the State Historical Museum of the Kyrgyz Republic in Bishkek, the Institute of Ancient Manuscripts (Matenadaran) named after Mesrop Mashtots in Yerevan —   around the emblem.

A ten-ruble coin made of non-precious metals under the series of Towns of Martial Glory is also issued into circulation. The coin is dedicated to Khabarovsk and its reverse side has a relief image of a coat of arms of the city. The mintage of the coin is 10,000,000 pieces.

The series comprises 36 coins already in circulation with the latest three issued on 2 November 2015.
