Inflation expectations decline in October

As shown by InFOM’s survey, in October 2026, households expected prices to increase by 13.2% on average over the next 12 months (vs 14.2% in September).
Companies’ price expectations were also down in October. The consumer sentiment index barely changed. The index reflects households’ current estimates and expectations regarding their personal wealth, economic development, and the consumer market situation.
