Retail investors support bond market in September
In September, retail investments in Russian corporate bonds increased by ₽158 billion, with asset-backed securities accounting for almost half of this amount. The offering size of these securities hit a record high of ₽479 billion over the month.
Furthermore, retail investors continued to allocate capital to money market exchange-traded unit investment funds. Contrastingly, stock purchases fell to their lowest level since January 2026.
