Bank of Russia plans to optimise search for statistical data and their use
The Bank of Russia has approved the guidelines for further development of its statistical activities through 2030. Their implementation will simplify the search for the regulator’s statistics and their use, and make these data clearer to users.
Instead of navigating multiple sections and files, users will have a single route – the Bank of Russia Data Portal that will serve as a one-stop shop for individuals, businesses, government authorities, and researchers to find statistics. All statistical indicators will be accessible via an API, using a clear category tree and smart search.
The Bank of Russia will also adopt uniform rules for describing these indicators. This will help understand how each indicator is formed and make it easier to compare data from different disciplines at both national and international levels.
