Interbank Currency Council of Bank of Russia and National Bank of Belarus holds meeting

The meeting was attended by Bank of Russia Governor Elvira Nabiullina, Chairman of the Board of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus Roman Golovchenko, and representatives of the two central banks.

The participants discussed the actual situation in financial markets and topical issues of the interaction of the countries’ banking and payment systems.

A special topic of the discussion was further collaboration between the parties as part of implementation of the Union State Treaty for 2027–2029.
