The growth rate of broad money (M2X) was lower in June month on month, primarily due to a decline in foreign currency deposits. The annual increase in M2X was down to 12.9%.
Lending to the economy was expanding more slowly in June than in May. Nevertheless, its annual growth rate remained virtually unchanged at 9.9%.
Credit to the economy was still the main source of money supply, with the contribution of fiscal operations remaining positive.
