Monitoring sectoral financial flows: incoming payments decrease in January

In January 2026, the amount of incoming payments made through the Bank of Russia decreased by 2.4% compared to the 2025 Q4 average. This was mainly due to the decline in ruble oil prices already in late 2025.
Receipts excluding mining and quarrying, petroleum refining, and general government, increased by 1.9%, driven by consumer demand sectors.
