Bank of Russia holds Eurasia 2025 international cyber drills
Representatives of financial regulators and financial institutions from the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and one observer country took part in the Eurasia 2025 cross-border cyber drills. The on-site stage of the drills was held from 20 through 24 October 2025 at Innopolis University.
Drills participants investigated a computer incident at a bank that, according to the scenario, had been attacked by hackers. The scenario involved the exploitation of vulnerabilities in the software products used by the bank. The teams were required to restore its infrastructure and carry out an investigation to track down the attackers.
All collected information was transferred to the Bank of Russia’s FinCERT.
In order to counter global cyber threats more effectively, the Bank of Russia will continue to cooperate with financial regulators from the EAEU member states and other interested countries.
