News

In September 2025, estimated inflation expected by households in one year decreased to 12.6% from 13.5% in August, as shown by InFOM’s survey.

Expectations went down among both respondents with savings and those without savings. Nevertheless, despite the decline, households’ inflation expectations remained elevated.

Companies’ price expectations slightly decreased. However, in recent months, they have changed insignificantly while remaining elevated. The consumer sentiment index went up.

More details are available in the new issue of the Bank of Russia’s commentary Inflation Expectations and Consumer Sentiment.
