Inflation expectations go down further, while staying heightened

According to InFOM’s survey, households’ estimates of inflation expected in a year edged down from 13.7% in February 2025 to 12.9% in March 2025. Inflation expectations decreased among respondents with savings but stayed nearly the same among respondents without savings.
The consumer sentiment index was up. Businesses’ price expectations had been dropping notably for the second consecutive month, but remained elevated.
