Inflation expectations remain high

In January 2025, estimated inflation expected by households in one year edged up to 14.0% from 13.9% a month earlier, as shown by InFOM’s survey. Expectations actually remained unchanged among respondents with savings and rose among those without savings.
The consumer sentiment index went up. Companies’ price expectations did not actually change and stayed close to their highs since spring 2022.
