Monitoring businesses: business activity grows moderately

The Bank of Russia’s Business Climate Index (BCI) was 4.2 p after 5.0 p in November, suggesting that business activity grew somewhat slower than in November. Though current demand and output estimates have declined, short-term business expectations remain positive.
Business price expectations have been rising for the fourth month in a row.
