Annual price growth in Russian regions remained high in October but decelerated in 47 regions, most notably in the Orenburg and Irkutsk Regions.
The annual rise in prices for services slowed down, with growth in airfares and prices for foreign tourism services decelerating most significantly. Furthermore, prices for foodstuffs (in particular, meat, eggs, and vegetables) were going up more slowly. Conversely, the increase in non-food prices sped up.
More details on inflation in each Russian region are available in the information and analytical materials published on the Bank of Russia website.
