Retailers and service companies choose SBP

In 2024 Q3, the number of companies enabling payments for goods and services via the Faster Payments System (SBP) increased by 13%, as evidenced by the Bank of Russia’s data.
By October 2024, the number of enterprises accepting payments via the SBP had exceeded two million with SMEs totalling 1.7 million, i.e. more than a quarter of all Russian small companies.
The service is becoming increasingly popular among individuals as well. Four out of ten people prefer to use the SBP for payments. Almost 11 million purchases are made every day, which is nearly 28% of all transactions carried out via the SBP daily.
