Monitoring businesses: growth in economic activity accelerates

In March, the Bank of Russia’s Business Climate Index rose to 10.6 points, the highest value over the recent 12 years. This suggests a pickup in the growth of economic activity compared to February 2024.
Current estimates of the demand for and output of goods and services increased. Expectations regarding future output and demand became the most positive since May 2013.
