Inflation expectations decrease in February

According to InFOM’s survey, households’ estimates of inflation expected in a year edged down from 12.7% in January 2024 to 11.9% in February. Inflation expectations decreased among respondents both with and without savings.
Households’ long-term inflation expectations for the next five years went down as well, namely to 9.3%. The consumer sentiment index continued to grow. Companies lowered their price expectations to the 2023 average.
