Cybersecurity in Finance: forum programme published
The business programme of the Bank of Russia’s forum Cybersecurity in Finance to be held in Yekaterinburg involves over 40 sessions and various areas of applied discussions.
On the first day of the forum (14 February), at the panel discussion Development Strategy for Information Security in the Financial Sector, Bank of Russia Governor Elvira Nabiullina and representatives of the banking community will discuss promising areas of protecting individuals from cyber fraudsters and urgent threats to financial institutions. Sessions dedicated to the issues of ensuring technological sovereignty, specifics of outsourcing information technologies and insuring cyber risks will also be held on 14 February. The speakers will share, among other things, their experience in developing digital and payment technologies.
The issue of combating fraud in money transfers and lending as well as improving financial cyber literacy will be on the agenda on the second day of the forum. During a separate session, the participants will exchange opinions on how to resolve the issue of a staff shortage in the area of information security.
The forum will finish with a series of workshops from leading information security experts.
