Monitoring businesses: current estimates of business climate and expectations improve

In December, the Business Climate Index (BCI) reached 7.6 points from 6.8 points in November and significantly exceeded the 2021 average. This is the fourth increase in a row. The positive trends of the BCI were determined by the growth of all its components: companies’ current estimates and expectations for output and demand improved.
In December, companies’ price expectations have rebounded after declining in the previous month.
